Easee Charge Core is a smart charger that is future-proof and perfect for commercial or home use. It includes all necessary features and a lot more, regardless, it's easy to use.
Technology empowers you to easily control the charger, whether it's installing it to match your household power grid, using up to three chargers simultaneously, or integrating with a Home Energy Management System (HEMS). Cloud control unlocks the flexibility to charge your car when electricity is cheapest.
The charger receives continuous updates with the latest functionalities. Despite its packed electronics and connectivity options, the charger operates smoothly even without an internet connection. All load and phase balancing actions occur locally.
Easee Charge Core boasts hassle-free installation, allowing you to adjust its charging power seamlessly to match your home's electrical capacity. On a single-phase circuit, it provides up to 7.4 kW, while a three-phase circuit unlocks its full potential of 22 kW. This translates to charging your electric vehicle in under 4 hours, depending on your car model and charging capability. Notably, most EVs and household setups currently aren't equipped for AC charging exceeding 11 kW.
Addressing concerns about insufficient main fuses, the Charge Core shines with its adjustable power and dynamic load management capabilities, allowing low-cost installation of multiple charging sites for workplaces, apartments, car parks and fleet companies. How Dynamic Load Management (DLM) works?
When overall consumable power (charging car or multiple cars, using electric stove etc at the same time) reaches main fuse capacity - it will trip. Dynamic load management helps to avoid it by reducing charging power when household appliances require more power. When the appliances are not in use, charging power is increased again.
Easee Chargers require Easee Equalizer or Equalizer Amp bundle for dynamic load management. Easee Equalizer acts as a control unit for the charger, it will reduce or increase power according to the grid needs. Equalizer needs to receive grid consumption information from measuring device (included in Equalizer Amp bundle).
